I lost one of my beloved TUSA Zoom Split fins that I used for dry suit diving today in a local lake dive. I hated that!!!
I was thinking of getting a pair of HOG Tech Fins at my LDS. They are on sale for $79.00 with spring straps. They are a paddle fin like the old ScubaPro Jet Fin that I used years ago. Any advice from other dry suit divers on what works best for you on fin style when diving dry. . Thanks!! |

How heavy were your old fins in the water? The Jets and Hogs are negative, the Slipstreams and Dive Rites are neutral. I do better with a neutral fin, so I'm using the Dive Rites, and will try a pair of Slipstreams if they ever appear in the long promised smaller sizes.

I can't comment on the splits as I have never used them. I just got my first drysuit and am about to start learning it's use. I plan on buying a set of the Hollis fins. I have read a lot of good reviews for them.

I'm still a fan of the classic jet fins. A little negative but to me are stillthe best around. My primay fins are a pair of Dacor Turbo Thrusts that are 25 + years old. they still work well and are close to neutral.

I use Jet Fins and love them, also XS Turtle Fins are good, and OMS Slipstreams, havent even seen the Hollis fin I dont think, but if they are knockoffs of those brands mentioned above, I am sure they will do fine
