I have a 4 way Antarctic undergarment. I have tried to dive twice since I got it last year. It is a great undergarment. Really warm. My last dive about a month ago it took about 30 lbs. of lead with a steel 95 cu. ft. tank to get it under the surface. I dive a Pinnacle EVO 2 drysuit. I still had to struggle somewhat to get to depth.
I was diving in lake water that was around 50 degrees. What are some of the experiences that some of you who have this undergarment? Does it take that much weight with you as well? |

The 4-way Antartica from Ron on ebay are very nice undergarments. Great for cold water diving, but they do require a lot of lead to sink them. With a single HP 130, 5lbs BP, 5lbs STA, I still wear 22 lbs on my belt. So it does take quite a bit to sink it, BUT the warmth is worth it to me. I have had it in 38* water for more than 45 min and was completely warm. Great undergarment but be prepared to sweat if it is warm outside, because this sucker is warm...
