Drysuit For Surfing?

Anyone used their drysuit for cold water surfing? I imagine the inlet valve would get in the way of laying on a board. Nonetheless, has anyone tried it?

How much warmth do you want? I use a 3/2 for Santa Cruz and Half Moon Bay. I don't think it would be very comfortable. The valves... Get a 5mm.

I think a scuba drysuit would restrict your mobility too much to be effective for surfing. A rafting/kayaking suit might be okay though, and you wouldn't have a valve to worry about.
