Unless you're going to be grubbing around inside of wrecks, I think the TLS350 will be more than rugged enough. I'm very happy with the fit and finish of mine. I will recommend you send DUI a pair of the larger Halcyon Exploration bellows pockets to install on it. I have the Classic zip, Turbo soles, Zip seals on the wrists, and the Halcyon P valve too.

I used the tls350 at the dui demo days and when I went to the lds they were recommending the clx450

The Clx450, hands down the choice for me if I had those two choices. It's the only DUI suit I've ever dove that I fell in love with.

That's the rub, he didn't ask for what was best because if he did I'd suggest a Viking Pro drysuit, he just asked for which of the two is a better choice and IMO the Clx450 is the one to get given those two options.

Agreed, I really love my CLX450, the TLS350 seems like paper by comparison.

That said, for travel, the 350 dries a LOT faster, is a LOT lighter, and packs a LOT smaller.
