Thinsulate VS. Polartec

I have a pair of 100g/m Thinsulate drysuit undergarments that are getting a little too small. I am wondering what the equivalent weight would be for Polartec. Does anyone know what this is or is it the same. I wouldnt think it would be the same as the thinsulate has a Denser fiber than the Polartec. Let me know your thoughts.

PS. Nice lift bag Mike......

So let me get this straight, Thinsulate SHIRNKS? Damn that sucks

I wish I could give you a good answer but all I have dove is Fleece undergarments so I have no idea what a comparable thinsulate would be...

Interested in the answers though...

Its funny how things tend to shrink as you get older. Actually the undergarments never really fit well. I just used them and dealt with it. As they have gotten smaller I feel like a controsionist trying to get in them. Its nearly impossible.

For some nice inexpensive undergarments check out Rondell on Ebay. Great guy to deal with and very nice undergarments... No Thinsulate though...

100g thinsulate should roughly equal fairly thick polartec, like the DUI powerstretch.

I ended up with another pair of 100g/m2 thinsulate undergarments from ebay. They were Andy's new in bag. Found a great deal on them. I put them on and not only do they strech but they fit much nicer too. No more 3 ring circus to get in them for me. I went with the thinsulate because i didnt want more bulk for the same warmth.

The 200gr thinsulate is going to be much warmer. Everyone was comparing 100gr to around 400gr polartec from what I gathered.
