Bare NexGen Sizing

Does anyone know how true the Bare Nex Gen suits are to the size charts on the Bare site? Particularly for women? If you are close to the top of one size range and the bottom of the size, would you go with the smaller size so it's not baggy, or do they run smaller? This seems to be the most affordable way to get into a DS right now and extend my diving season through the winter, but I will be buying online so I'd rather get the size right the first time. Any help would be appreciated.

Check out divetank.com. Use their pro-fit sizing option. They GUARANTEE that it will fit or they will pay return shipping on the suit. I recently bought a Bare XCD2 Tech from them and they sized me perfectly with a semi-custom suit (they added one inch to the legs).

I also have a Nex-Gen. Its a bag suit. Very loose. So you may think its too big when you get it. But since it doesn't stretch it needs to be bigger. The key is how it feels when diving it.

As for how it fits compared to the printed specs.....I am 6'4" 195 lbs. I fit the spec on a LT for everything but height on the Nex-Gen (one inch too tall). The shop I bought it from didn't have any in stock so we called Bare and they said I needed a XLT. I think I could have fit the LT, but I'll probably never know...

Its a great suit. It served me well for 3.5 dive seasons and it's still going strong. I just wanted something better. So now its a backup.

Thank you for the info. I will definitely use that option. They have a great deal on the suit as a used rental too.
