What kind of rubber is that?

Hi!

Can anyone tell me what kind of strong, stretchy rubber is used in vintage drysuits like those made by the "Aquala" company or others like that?

There were, going back to the early days, dry suits, without vents. I had seen one, but they obviously would have some issues at depth...later Poseidon came out with a nylon neoprene suit, with the first inflator attachment and should vent (late 60's). Had one of those.

As the original dry suit did not work very well, they seem to have been sort of forgotten about.
