care and feeding of a new dry suit

First, thanks to all in advance for your advice.
I have a brand new crushed neoprene drysuit by Mares and one diver says to hang it on a drysuit hanger another says keep it folded correctly in a bag.

Any more opinions and reasonings?

I hang mine to dry it, then roll it with the thermal jumpsuit on top of it and put it in my bag. That way it dries fully, then is compact and easy to carry around, once it is rolled up, and the thermal jumpsuit stays with the suit.

Dumb question - what do the manufacturers directins say?

My DUI says hang it if possible, roll it if not. But keep away from any ozone generators (electric motors, etc.)

Roll it if it is going to be stored for a bit and if not then hang it.

The dealer where I bought my dry suit recommended that I keep mine on a dry suit hanger which is the same thing it says in my owners manual. The dry suit hanger has a long neck on it which keeps the neck seal from getting creases or losing it's shape resulting in it not giving a good seal.

I would check my owners manual and follow whatever it recommends.

the manufacturer says it all. For my trilam suit from BARE, it's to be loosely rolled with the zipper open and on the outside. It comes with a bag in which to store it.

2 weeks ago I just got my new Bare Trilam HD ATR... Words straight from the owners manual.

COPIED

The best way to store your drysuit is to leave it on it's dryer hanger in a cool, dry, dust free area. If the suit must be stored otherwise, once it is COMPLETELY DRY INSIDE AND OUT lay it on the floor with the zipper facing downward. Turn the boots inward and loosely roll up the legs and torso to the base of the neck seal. Bring the arms together over the top of the rolled suit so that the OPEN ZIPPER forms an arch as it does while you are wearing the suit. Slide the suit into it's carrying bag and store it so that NOTHING ELSE WILL BE PUT ON TOP OF THE BAG.
