Neoprene to Fleece

If you were wearing a 7mm wetsuit (for me, this is what I'm comfortable wearing in 82 degree water) and you switched to a trilam drysuit, what weight fleece undergarment would you use?

Specifically, I'm thinking in terms of Polartec undergarments from SoftWearDiving.com--100, 200 or 300 weight.

Thanks.

Bob

In my case, no. In 82 degree water, I'm too cold in my Bare 5/4 with a 3mm hooded vest. That's why I'm buying a drysuit...

No magic recipe... Everyone is different when it comes to cold. I have to say that I would be in a 3mm for 82f water. That's nice stuff... I am looking to buy a dry suit and I'm think a 200 wt under garment but that would be for somewhere between 60-45f.

Yes, I realize that almost everyone would be in 3mm in 82f water. I get quite a few strange looks as I'm gearing up.

What I'm wondering is if you had a 7mm wetsuit for a certain temperature water, what drysuit insulation would you replace it in.

Thanks.

I wear 7mm in 70 Degree weather.. I just wear normal fleece sweather in my drysuit and I am fine. I don't wear the expensive stuff. Also if you end up buying a neoprene drysuit then it is different since there is a bit more insulation. I use a trilaminate and I wear normal fleece (soft ones) pants and sweater .. I was ok in 55F weather
