Favorite drysuit?
I'm going to get DS certified after the 1st of the year and would like to hear from folks like you who dive the BARE Nex-Gens and the DUIs and the Pinnacles, why you dive what you do and how do you like diving dry and warm with you favorite suit.
HAPPY NEW YEAR!!! |

I dive a DUI CLX450, and love it to death. Only way to go on long deep dives, repetitive dives (5 dives per day in fairly, but not terribly, cold water), or when diving in the winter.
Before that I had a USIA basic suit that worked nicely and I also liked, but the new suit fits me better and is more rugged. I bought the CLX450 because I wanted the option of adding Zip Seals later (I don't have them now, but want to be able to convert later if I want, and that only happens with DUI). I wanted something with a little more durability and strength than the TLS350, since I do a lot of shore diving in heavy surf, but I didn't want to deal with the weight and multiple-day-drying time of the crushed neoprene suits (CF200, etc). Hey, I'm a Shark now! When did that happen? |

Hey Borg, check out this thread. It will kind of show you what's out there and what they think of them.
Select the drysuit you're using or own As to how I like it, fine. I wouldn't own a drysuit if I didn't like diving warmer than a wetsuit.
