Important - SeaLife recommends removing the spiral-sleeve protector or cables may break
We have learned that the spiral-shaped sleeve which covers the cable (shown below) must be removed in order to prevent breaking the cable. The following step-by-step instructions show you how to remove this sleeve. You may either remove the sleeve or the SeaLife Service Dept will do this for you under warranty.
1. Firmly grab the cable near the white connector and pull up to remove.

2. Pull the connector to disconnect the cable from the flash.

3. Remove the sleeve by grabbing the end and unwrapping it from the cable.
4. Important: rotate the cable once (360 degrees) before connecting it to the flash
5. Connect the cable into the flash making sure to push down all the way.
6. Check to make sure the cable does not get trapped in the sealing area of the waterproof door. Test fire the flash.
