I agree, forums are not an advertising medium and should not be used as such. It's one thing to give feedback on products used by members, either positive or negative, to inform others to the value of the product. Granted, ST does this to a certain extent, but it is their site.

Seems to me if you want to sell diving equipment you might try talking to dive shops to see if they want to carry your product, that is what they're in business for. If you are a member of a forum and look at questions about your product and answer them, that is a different story.
