Dry suit underclothing. Beware / warning

Drysuit diving ladies. Yesterday I realized I left my favorite sports tank top and matching shorts in Detroit. I normally wear the outfit under my drysuit undies. Instead I would wear long underwear under my drysuit underwear.

Here's what I learned.

Take off the bra before diving. During a dive yesteday I felt as if I couldn't catch my breath and the squeeze of my drysuit To my chest cavity (even after adding large quantities of air) was painful. I aborted the dive feeling incredibly out of shape. Last night I undressed to find several deep purple bruises across my sternum and along where my underwire would naturally sit.

Today I dove sans brassiere (cool it guys) and felt much more comfortable throughout the dive.

I normally don't wear street clothes under my drysuit -- too many seams and such. From now on, I will stick to sports bras or tanks with built in bras.

Thought I would share the experience. Just because you stay dry I wouldn't assume any old clothing is a good fit.

So yesterday, I go to the LDS to return our rental tanks (AL 80 and 100). I had to return both mine and my husbands as he had a course at the university. The shop was closed but the owner was there because he has dive club meetings every Wednesday. On to my story

So, in I walk struggling to carry both tanks and hold the door open so I can get the tanks (and myself) through the door. As I'm struggling to get in, the men in the dive club are just staring at me- none of them even offered to hold the door!

Now, I don't mind that they didn't offer to carry my tanks or anything but damn they could have at least had the decency to not stare at me as I'm struggling with them. It was kind of embarrassing to be trying to carry the tanks back to where they go and have like 20 people watching you.

So, not to belabor the reasons why, but life has been really hard lately and my mood was close to hitting rock bottom this week.

So my neighbor (a guy) and I walk down the beach to a beach bar last night which has a bunch of folks in it. One group was a bunch of marines recently returned from Iraq. This absolutely adorable....and...*23 year old*...marine just back from Iraq comes right across the room to introduce himself to my neighbor and me and later asked me out on a proper date. *So my question to you ladies is...How young is too young? :smilie39:*

Talk about a good way to take a mood out of the gutter and put it right back on top of the moon. :smiley20:And yes, against my better judgment, I left him there and returned home with my neighbor. :smiley13:

GOD BLESS OUR TROOPS. ESPECIALLY THOSE WHO FLIRT WITH MIDDLE AGED LADIES. :smiley31:

It took 100 years for men to realize that the brain is also important?

Is this true for Women's Sense of smell?

It looks like all my life I've used the wrong scent for inviting the opposite sex :::::http://www.psych.umn.edu/courses/fall06/davenportn/psy3061/sexual_arousal.pdf
1...For women, positive smells include cucumber, and banana nut bread. Negative smells for women include cherries, and men’s cologne.

More questions: Does any woman agree with this study???
FuturePundit: Study on Differences in Female, Male Sexuality (http://www.futurepundit.com/archives/001393.html)
2..women’s sexual arousal patterns may be less tightly connected to their sexual orientation. The Northwestern study strongly suggests this is true. The Northwestern researchers measured the psychological and physiological sexual arousal in homosexual and heterosexual men and women as they watched erotic films. There were three types of erotic films: those featuring only men, those featuring only women and those featuring male and female couples. As with previous research, the researchers found that men responded consistent with their sexual orientations. In contrast, both homosexual and heterosexual women showed a bisexual pattern of psychological as well as genital arousal. That is, heterosexual women were just as sexually aroused by watching female stimuli as by watching male stimuli, even though they prefer having sex with men rather than women. (You can put me in the heterosexual male group & I don't mind saying 100% correct in viewing women = + response... But viewing only other men = 0% to - response)

(The article also says: positive smells for men include lavender, pumpkin pie and donuts.---I really don't know and do not remember ever smelling those smells at that time for this guy----But I do have quite a visual memory of events...)
