Interesting studies on diving, and exercise

Here's one about pre hydration, again looks like it works.

Preventive Effect Of Pre-Dive Hydration On Bubble ...[Br J Sports Med. 2008] - PubMed Result

Here's the one about exercise before a dive, looks like it's a VERY good idea.

Aerobic exercise 2 hours before a dive to 30 msw d...[Aviat Space Environ Med. 2005] - PubMed Result

That's really neat, it'd be interesting to hear how it helps exactly when they figure out more.

Furthermore, if you read the other links on diving you'll see that on Navy divers it seems that even light exercise during the safety stop reduced the bubbles.

The odd thing, exercise in general seemed to be the key to reducing bubbles, before, during and after diving. All the things we've been told not to do. They do say it's only useful for their divers though, but it's interesting that exercise is the key.

I wonder if it had to do with speeding up the blood flow?
