What is the orange snot that ends up in my mask? One thought would be blood mixed in, maybe. Any thoughts?

I got that too my first few dives, my instructor said it was from equalizing too much & a little too hard, i.e. a little blood in the boogs...

I had that once, but I had a little sinus congestion and took some prescription nose spray before the dive to try and clear sinus's. I was able to dive but did get a little bit of blood in my nose pocket.
