How about a Fitness section?

I work out 6 days a week now because I'm too fat. Thought it would be nice to see what others are doing.

I'm training for the Marine Corps Marathon in October. I run 3-4 days a week, depending on the training schedule, and I swim twice a week. This week, I managed to swim a mile for the first time, on Tuesday and Thursday. I did "cheat"- I used my snorkel.
Tomorrow is my last run for the week, I'll run 8 miles.

I joined a gym 3 months ago and am a complete addict.

Always laughed at people before but have seen my SAC go down by about 10% so far.

Feel a lot better after multiples now as well.

I'm not experienced enough to have a good SAC rate yet, but I'm certain that being fit will help me out while diving.

I've been beset by injuries during the last 3 years. I just started running again to drop some of the 30 pounds I've added since the first injury. I think my days of contact sports are over though.

I can't stand my keg at this point. I ran into one of my ex-students today and the first words out of his mouth were "You got fat." Damn kids are way too honest.
