During my school days i believe i was a good swimmer, and when it came to the laps i was asked to swim during the ow course i thought to myself....meh...too easy.
In i jumped swam the first lap like a star then half way back my feet started to sink...i was struggling to keep myself afloat....i was terribly unfit! How did this happen...well i know how it happened....how to fix it? Well i have also got a bad back (bricky) and the chiro had told me to get down the pool and do some laps to help it...had i been down there doing it? nup too lazy. Well about 3-4 weeks ago i started doing laps at the local pool...and i tell ya its helping my back alot, and my fitness is getting much better. I have built up to 14 laps atm and i am looking to increase this shortly. Jason. |

I jog back and forth around the house each night to and from the beer fridge.
I have been working hard at it for a while now and can even open the door by myself. (Thanks I know its taken alot of dedication) Smiles - Light humour Kraks

I had a gym membership, was swimming 3-4 nights a week but then just got too busy. I canceled the membership until just recently and started swimming again. Now that I have a membership again I've been so busy I'm lucky to get 3-4 times in a month, grrrrr.

I'm doing Pilates....Sure helps core strength. I go to a Pilates class once a week, and HOPEFULLY do a Stott Pilates dvd ( www.stottpilates.com ) or walking another couple days/wk.

I took up Crossfit a couple of months ago, it is awesome. Extremely physically challenging (literally drenched in sweat and collapsing at the end of a workout) but that's what makes it fun.
I do 4 or 5 sessions of that a week plus a cardio session every day (running, swimming or rowing.) I enjoy working at it. |

I just stay active in the summer. Diving, running, mowing an acre of grass with the push mower, some biking. In the winter I get a 6 month membership at the Y and swim, play a lot of raquetball, lift and run. It helps I just need to find more time to do it. It's easy enough in the winter to get a routine going but pretty hard during the summer months.
