That element certainly exists on SB but the issue came up not long ago about men posting in the women's forum, and the majority of men who had posted didn't even realize it was a women's forum. Turns out many people read the boards regularly by hitting New Posts and clicking on subjects that sound interesting, paying little attention to the forum name at the right. And on SB, it was a sub-forum and wasn't even displayed at the right originally.

Tell her to keep an eye on it, and if I need to keep the guys out of there - I'll find a way to do it! We could set it up as you have to request to get in that area, and I can make it an ask to be opt in forum - but let's not hassle with it unless it looks like we need it!

Not that I think this needs to be done BUT I'm on a local forum which has a womens only section and the blokes can't get in. Something to do with a profile setting I think - so only those who have selected female can go into that particular section. No Guys allowed!!

And before you blokes get all sensitive ... they also have a males only section where us girls can't go in. Not that we'd want to. I really, really don't want to know what you talk about when you don't have to control yourselves!!!

So it can be done. Again, not that I think it needs to here.
