IE8 Beta 2

A few months ago we discussed IE8 Beta 1...now beta 2 is out. ST site functions just fine in it.

Some very nice features - I love the translator part, security features (highlighting base url is neat)

In about 3-4 weeks Firefox will release it's next beta - browser wars are heating up!

Ok, we'll be changing the site - tomorrow... For all you guys that want to sneak a preview - first off... I know there are some obvious things like the left menu is a bit redundant - it's why some items are duplicated in the present cart. The category structure changes into a better sub directory style, so skip the categories that have names like Accessories: Bags

Instead click on Accessories - it will then take you to the Accessories and list them all, but the menu will then also show all the sub directories in that category.

And some links - like on the top of the page, you will see a MyAccount button. It will take you to a home page sorta'... because the path isn't right yet.

All this is in a new subdirectory called Store-New so if you click on something that takes you off the new stuff... add a -new after the Store in the url, and you should be able to see that section or function.

Obviously, after we rename the directories, everything should work.

So I wouldn't go all the way through check out here - but it will give you the look of stuff... and if you want to try it with IE8 - that would be great.

Awesome Larry! I'd been paying close attention to the site the last week or so hoping to catch a preview of the new store.

Looks good! Love that I have the option to view more items on the page, and the categories really help locate things quickly. Being able to access the "My Account" page, which I'm assuming will let me save a wish list and view current / past orders - that's going to be real handy.

I tried it in IE8 - everything seems to be working just fine (havent exactly placed an order yet :-) ) . If you wan't I can place an order and you guys cancel it?

Other than that, all is well.
