Personally I know a lot of forums who put special common links (other websites, companies, etc.) in a sticky on the 'general' forum and I think this would be helpful.

Newer divers who have not been in the community as long as some don't know about places to check on the interwebs.

Places like, DAN, Alexa.com, etc. are great resources and some people don't even know where to start looking.

Another good sticky (imo) would be a list of great known-good resorts and dive packages that people could speak to. For example Larry or someone appointed by Larry (Or just request votes using webmonkey.com or something) can list resorts and dive packages he supports/recommends and other divers recommend.
