Have known of this saying, or something close to it for years. Can't find it anywhere, does anyone know the quote or the originator?

I think it continues, '...you just don't know it yet.' Or '...you just haven't finished.', or, 'Down here, you're already dead, your body just doesn't know it yet.'

I don't know if I'm thinking of the same quote as you...

the one that I'm just on the edge of remembering comes from a movie...and it seems like the movie involves mountain climbing...the speaker is going on about the rigors of climbing at high altitude and then he says something like...

"up there mr. soandso your not dieing, your already dead"

probobaly not the exact same quote you are looking for...but even if it's not, you've succeeded in activating my OCD, I must now at least find out the name of the movie that I'M REMEMBERING.
