Wacky idea: If dolphins learned to speak to us, would you give them human rights?

I was reading this article about dolphins and how everyday we are communicating more and more with them. Soon, it seems, we will talk to them as equals !
Why dolphins are deep thinkers | Science | The Guardian

If man and dolphin came to have a common language so that we can talk easily to each other, would you give dolphins human rights?
- right to their own homes and ocean water
- right to their own Nation!!
- dolphin rights!! right of self determination
- right to have men convicted of murder for killing a dolphin
- right to own property (stocks, real estate)
- right to Marry HUmans and have DOLMAN BABIES!!!!!!
and so on

would you? yes/no why?

If we learned that dophin society actually has laws, would they give human dolphin rights? Would you respect dolphin laws if humans were granted dolphin rights?

The answer lies in your question: Human vis-a-vis Dolphin. Unless you assert tautalogical equivalence between Man and Dolphin, then the answer must be No.

Well, first of all, no one can "give" anyone else human rights. All people have basic human rights. It is not granted or given by any other human or government entity.
Second of all, dolphins are not human, but I am all in favor of dolphin rights
