Best Movie Sequel/Prequel

ok, what is the best movie sequel/prequel...if it ain't in the poll then leave your vote in the post, as always there are WAY too many movies and only 10 slots....one vote only on this one!

I sure did like that last Bond movie, "Casino Royale," which one could chalk up as either a prequel or a sequel depending on your preference. My wife liked it too, which is pretty unusual for that genre.

There was another one that didn't make my list but should definitly be there...dang that ten number limit....anyway....The Godfathers....and initially my vote was for the Alien trilogy, but in terms of its "all encompassing" importance it would have to go to Lord of the Rings.

I suppose most people here are too young to remember the Star Wars trilogy. those three rocked. the foolhearted attempt of a couple of years ago was pathetic but those first three were all awesome.

Yep Star Wars for me.
I was too young to see the first at the movies but ill never forget the opening scene of the second on the big screen.

star trek here... special effects, the longevity of them... hell, they still play IV on movie channels quite often...

amongst those not listed, as gibson mentioned, the new Batman stuff is amazing... I always liked the old, but I'm really sold if they stick with the batman begins style of movie...

My vote was not in the poll - it would have to be Star Wars "The Empire Strikes Back"
