What strobe do you use with your Canon housing?

I'm lloking for a good strobe and arm assembly, not too expensive, but reliable. Any suggestions?

I've got the Canon A610, inside a WP-DC90. I saw the YS-15, and I am kinda leaning toward that. Is it easy to use?

I use the Inon D2000 with my PowerShot S80. Works great! I really like the wide angle of the strobe, the focus light, recycle time, and the number of shots I get on one set of 4 AA batteries.

Real easy. It uses a fiber optic cable that syncs with the flash. You just attach the velcro to the housing over the camera's flash.

I love it. One of the best cameras out there, IMO... it's just beyond comprehension why they discontinued it. Wide angle, close macro, compact size, rechargeable batteries (hand-in-hand with compact size, and definitely my preference), and a nice big screen. Manual controls. Does it all! The only thing they could add to it is a RAW and a TTL input, but you don't get that on any Canons without going to the dSLRs.

Oh, I forgot to mention, I have the Ikelite housing, Ikelite handle, and ULCS arms. I also have the Inon Macro lens, but haven't used it much yet.

I remember with the earlier Canon S40 you could not turn the camera on and off in the housing. You had to turn it on before you put it in, and the battery life was very short. Did they fix this with the S80?

Yes, there are two ways. My Ikelite case has a little windshield wiper arm that flicks the front door open and closed.

Or, by pressing and holding Menu for 5 seconds, it acts as a power button and turns the camera off, even if the front door is open. That's how I usually do it, since I don't like the little arm, which can be cranky. That method would work in the Ike or Canon housing.
