Sea & Sea strobe prices???

So I was looking at the prices for the YS27 and YS15.

the ys27 is $379.95 and with stand/light kit $549.95 which make adding the stand / light kit $170 extra.

the ys15 is 304.95 and with what seems (on the picture) to be the exact same light kit / stand than the ys27 is $379.95 which add $75 extra.

So why is what apear to be the same kit more than twice more expensive if bought with the ys27 than the ys15?

Sorry, I don't think I worded my question very well. I understand the differences between the YS15 and YS27... My question is about the optional stand kit. If you buy the kit with the YS27 you'll pay $170 extra, but the same kit with the YS15 is $75 extra...

Why? Is it the same kit (Stand kit only)?

I can't speak to the difference in price for the accessories, but I will note that you can do better on the price of the YS-27. I got one on ebay, new in the box, for $290 inclusive of shipping. Shop around!

I gota YS-27 one on ebay for 235.00 + 40.00 shipping, was shipped from Hong Kong. I am very pleased with it. I now have an older Sea & Sea I think it is a type IV arm and tray. It works fine but I don't have much flexability. I am looking at the sea arm light single set. I found one at Leisure Pro for 144.95 with free shipping. http://www.leisurepro.com/Prod/SSALS.html

You can make your own strobe arms pretty inexpensively using locline parts.

the strobe arm on the bottom strobe is loc-line - you can make this arm for around 25 dollars.
