Got my new Ikelite Housing for my G9

I can't wait to try it out. This is my first "real" underwater housing (ordered from ST, of course).
This housing feels like it is bulletproof.

Is there anything I need to do to the housing, out of the box, before I use it for the first time? I plan on testing it in my bathtub first.

Also, where is the best place to secure a lanyard/clip on Ikelite housings?

Any tips you all can share would be welcome.

I would go for a dive without the camera first which is a better test than a bathtub. I cable tie (use two big cable ties) a stainless steel clip around the base of the handle ( I have one on each side on my D80).

Dont worry about silicon greasing the main o-ring as they dont really need it.

Buy a spare main o-ring also as a back-up

Have fun and can not wait to see your pics.
