Refresher

I am NAUI certified, many years ago, and have looked at their and PADI's website for a general refresher course. Is there something like that out there or maybe a online course or do I just have to dig into a book to refresh? Thanks, JOe

Joe.... PADI offers through many of their dive shops or ind. instructors/divemasters a scuba refresher program.....I have taught many of these over the years to certf. divers wishing to brush up on basic knowledge/book and in water skill sets and gear review. I normally found that I could conduct this class in 4 hours based on the students need, sometimes a bit longer. Its a great way to refresh. Now for me when I returned to diving after 'many' years away from the sport I figured it was better for me to start from scratch and take a PADI O/W course. Good luck!!

For a refresher course, you don't need to stick with PADI. You can attend any refresher given by an established dive agency. You can also contract an instructor for short private instruction as well.

I *think* the rule is that if you don't dive for a year, you should attend a refresher course. I could be wrong though....
