As long as its all within weight and size specs for your carryons, no problem.

When I tried to bring roller blades in a carry on they flipped out hence why I asked.

They said I use hit people with them. Someone using fins to take over a plane isn't likely.. LOL

LOL...yeah and people's laptops aren't weapons! Typically, I travel with my reg/computer, mask, bathing suit, camera/lenses and laptop in carryon. Pretty much anything I can't live without. Of course, if the pelican case with my housing and strobes don't make it, I'm pretty much SOL anyway, but at least I can still dive.

We even carry on some soft wieghts. They always question them but when they see all of the other gear they let it go. We almost always have to open our regulator bag. I think when they see the hoses coiled up they need to see exactly what it is.

We always carry gear onboard when we go to Cayman or hawaii. I carry a backpack with our twoSS backplates and STAs and my camera, lenses, housing, strobe, tray, arms, batteries and charger in a camera bag. My wife carries her purse/tote with boooks and stuff as well as our regs/computers in a reg bag. We've never had any issues from the airlines - I have had to open the camera bag before and talk U/W photo gear with a TSA guy once though.
