I will probably hold off on the class as much as I would like to take it, simply because if I have to buy any more gear, my wife will likely kill me. I also just dumped ~$2k buying brand new equipment for my wife which she has still yet to use. Ugh.
Thanks for the info, and sorry to hijack the thread. |

Places to learn good kicks:
DIR-F (so I've been told) Good Intro to Tech class such as Advanced Nitrox Cavern Class OR Mentored by a diver who has done the above and then some. I personally think the mentor idea is slighter better simply because a class is a short term thing. A mentor is longer term. (though class then mentor is great) |

Thanks heaps for those links CompuDude.
![]() I had to download the other thing to get them to work as well. ![]() Im having trouble finding anyone close to me that does the DIR-F course for some reason. I know there are a few people that do the TDI courses so maybe i should head towards those. I would love to find a mentor. Jas. |

gue.com/Training/Instructors/index.html Steve Trewavas in Victoria, and Liam Allen in Sydney (I think... see the link). If they're not super local, most GUE instructors will travel if you can put a class together. So tell a friend! |

I have touched bases with the bloke that runs the course here and he is running a couple of courses early next year at about 1000 dollars.
I havent been game to mention this to my wife yet. ![]() He runs the classes with a minimum of 3 people and max 4. If you want more info let me know. ![]() Jas. |
