Just curious what new places people are going to try locally this year....myself, I plan to try white star, Gilboa, and Portage. I will also be doing 2 charters to Lake Michigan as I do every year.

Nice thread. I am planning on hitting Whitestar and Portage for the first times. I will be heading down to Gilboa more this season. I do plan on making Monroe my home dive and continue to hit the River on a weekly basis.

New dive sites out of state will be Maui, Oahu, and Kauai in less than a week (I am doing a happy dance right now) and hopefully Bermuda in August.

I will also be on a few charters offered by Sea-Side in St. Clair Shores. I will post when those charters are scheduled.

I am always open to any one diving with me.

If possible I would like to take a long weekend and dive the Oriskany in October. I really liked Gilboa and I dove Whitestar in November of 07 and hope to dive again when its warmer as I froze my rear off. My gaol is the have my master scuba diver and rescue done by end of summer.

Rogers City. Crazy, I've been all over the Great Lakes but everytime I planned Rogers City we had bad weather or some other issue. So the wifey and I decided that we'd do this trip no matter what. I know I'm missing out until I get this trip in.

We would also like to get some wrecks off Milwaukee that we haven't done before.

Yes, I have long put it off, but i think this is the year to to move on to Dive Master, I havent decided if its worth the effort or not. I am not planning on instructing at this time, so it basically is just another Notch on the Belt.

Hoping to squeeze a trip in to Palau this year, as well as my usual haunts. I've got my fingers crossed!
