I mean, I am not afraid of sticks!!! I just don't like them in the water. It is unatural. Sticks belong on trees. Trees belong on dry land.

I am not afraid of spiders, but they don't belong in your mouth or hair, do they? They belong in webs.

Same way sticks don't belong in the water.
