Advice on installing a compass onto a Mares MC2

Hi all,

Are there any "gotcha's" that I need to be aware of as I go about attaching the Mares MC2 compass to the console?

Or is it just a matter of removing the 6 screws in the console, removing the "top", inserting the console compass and replacing the screws?

(UPDATE: I decide to only remove the top 2 screws and it all seems to fit back together - is there anything that I need to check?)
