O-ring help needed
Could someone tell me what size of O-ring is needed for the male fittings on the ends of a low pressure and high pressure regulator hose?
Also, if I lube these O-rings with silicone grease, will this contaminate my reg for nitrox use? Thanks! |

low pressure - 3/8" - part # 2-011 (BN) or 2-211 (Viton)
high pressure - 7/16" - part# 2-012 (BN) or 2-212 (Viton) These are static o-rings. They do not need to be lube'ed. Just use a little spit when securing fitting. A little bit of silicone grease will not void recreational nitrox use (<40% O2). If you are using high percentages of O2, you must use an appropreate lube (Christo-lube). I hope this helps.
