Compressor iblowing up...

Hi there!
I'm part of a small dive club and we have a few issues with our gas compressor. It is a Ingersolll Rand 15T2, 4 stages compressor and it started blewing up and not filling up anymore... we cleaned up the 4 heads which were full of carbon, but it keeps blewing up! We put it apart again and again, and the heads are clean but the pressure valve between the stage 2 and 3 keep blewing and so we can't fill up any tank!
Any idea of what could be the problem! Please help us going back in the water .............
