Patching a Henderson Hyperstretch

My 7MM Hypertretch is showing strain right above the knee pad. You can see through it to the blue material below. I'm thinking of using about a 4" x 4" neoprene patch and Aqua Seal on the inside of the leg to strenthen this area before a complete hole forms. How does that sound, and what is the best way to patch wetsuits?

You might want to check out a product called Tear-Aid. It is super strong and super flexible. I bought it at West marine. they also sell it at cabellas online. The best thing is that west price matched Cabellas when I brought in a copy of the web page.
