LP Hose 250 vs 400 psi rating

Just purchased a new LP hose, and noticed that it is only rated to 250 psi (don't know burst limit). My older hoses are rated to 400 psi. As I understand it, the first stage will lower the pressure to about 120-150 psi, so it doesn't seem like it would become an issue, but it still makes me ask; any reason to avoid hoses with this low of a rating? Without doing any homework, are these hoses generally cheaper (in price and in quality) than the 400 psi rated ones? etc, etc...

Whats the lowest psi rating for a HP hose? 250 bar (3626 psi)?

Just throwing around some oddball questions as I drift off to sleep...

the hoses that came with my regs are 250 psi as well... should be fine using any hose up to its rated pressure, as manufacturers purposely build in some safety margin...

next time ya buy hoses though, get the miflex hoses - rated at something like 3000 or 3500 psi (they are only for reg hoses currently), they are almost as cheap as regular hoses, and are super flexible...
