CRAP! broke my Dive Rite bulb...fix?

Have the Dive Rite MRII which has the 10-watt HID Welch Allyn Solarc blub in it.........but it broke yesterday from what I assume was from a fall/knock to the ground (not sure really). Anyway, does *anyone* know where to get a replacement bulb for these lights??? I'm not having ANY luck searching the net.

Call Scuba Toys or check here: Dive Rite Light Batteries and User Replacement Parts - Dive Gear Express

In either case expect it to be expensive. HID bulbs OUCH!

Led 700

Just letting you know the bulb and replacement will be around $150 from Dive Rite Express or you can have it switched over to LED for the same price, FYI.

For what they charge they should throw in a jar of vaseline. Makes it hurt less.

This is true. Had a friend who broke his twice now and he's pretty good with his hands...said it was a PITA to replace. He used the UK bulb though and saved a few bucks for his troubles.

Yup. If you look hard, I think you can find the UK bulb for around $60-70.

I'm not sure it's always a drop-in replacement, though... DR has used a couple different bulbs in these lights, and I think I recall the Light Canon uses BrightStar bulbs now, not Welch-Allyn.

For the money, though, I'd probably convert to LED.

At work, but just a quick update: found replacement bulb for $85 through a company called something "Tech" (sorry, CRS again). The standard Dive Rite pricing is like $125 or more......nuts. I'll be switching over to the LED conversion very soon after this bulb; supposed to be better light and a sturdier setup with longer burn time. Thanks to all for the responses!
