Loose Velcro

Is there a good way to reattach loose velcro? The zipper cover on one of my dive boots uses velcro, and a corner of it has come loose.

That was my first plan, but if there were a reliable adhesive out there for this application...

Neoprene glue. Next most useful item to duct tape! If you've never used neo glue, read up before using it.

Easiest is Aquaseal (aka Shoegoo).
Glue it, put pressure on it, ready to go the next day. Repair area may be a touch stiff.

Neoprene Cement (aka rubber cement/contact cement).
You might need to remove the tab to coat it & the contact area of the boot.
Light coat on each, let it dry, repeat for three coats.
Replace the tab on the boot carefully to the original location. It may need sewing at the corners to reinforce it.

Sewing only is cheap and fast.

I used rubber cement & corner stitches when I had the same problem.

Send a message via AIM to datamunk
id suggest aquaseal... i use that stuff on EVERYTHING! i take the area and glue everythin up, then i put some paper towels on it (pretty thick) and a softweight or two (couple of 5 pounder)... that makes sure it is "flat" when it cures, and then the papertowels will dissolve away when it gets wet a few times (and keeps the weights from gettin dirty)

If you end up sewing it try using dental floss...nice and strong. I repaired a set of sailing gloves with dental floss and it lasted for years
