Oceanic Zeta

How do i adjust this thing so that it does not free flow so easily? It also leaks just a little bit when it is pressurized. I was told by someone that that was normal for that reg. I just want to know the ins and outs of adjusting that servo valve. Thanks for the help.

A zeta? eeeewwwwww

The biggest gear purchase mistake I ever made. 1) My wife did not really want regs. 2) These regs were expensive AND had the bonus of sucking.

It is normal for the Zeta to hiss on pressurization. If I remember right, they are overbalanced.

They seem to be hard to adjust. I had them serviced TWICE in 2 months before going to Cozumel and the reg would not breath at 100 feet for my wife at Punta Sur. Oceanic no longer even makes this reg.

I spent a fair bit of $$ to learn that my wife wants to rent gear and to almost drown her on a reg that resisted tuning.

May I ask how you got it?

I bought the reg brand new. I realy like it it delivers all the air i could ever want no matter how deep or how cold. I just want to set it so it is not quite as light.
