reg an console problem - Scuba Forum

i have a scuba pro console it has the quick disconnect hose on the pressure guage wife got me a new oceanic reg. was swapping stuff over an the scuba pro pressure hose will not get tight enough due to the oceanic reg being reccesed is there an adapter or something or do i need to get a new pressure gauge that willl fit my scuba pro console its a 3 gauge compass aladin prime computer thanks

Could you take a picture of this... I don't understand how a standard HP fitting would not take a standard HP hose... puzzled.

the oceanic threads have a longer shank after the threads than scuba pro had our local dive club meeting an they said they think they have a little short adapter im like you figured it would work no problem

This does not make much sense. Any 7/16 HP hose male connection should screw into an HP port on any modern Oceanic 1st stage. And that would have nothing to do with anything that is on the female end of the HP hose. You will have to be clearer about exactly what you are trying to connect.

my bad screwed up i hooked it to a tank no leaks just looking at it didnt look seated sorry an thanks for the help

Tom...there was more help in everyone going "What?" than it might seem...But it really helps, when you have a question like this to take a picture, even if it is with a phone camera.

Don't feel bad for asking a question....I have sat a puzzled a lot of things that later were obvious....

i know this was just itdidnt look right i should have went to the fire dept got a tank an tried it out
