2008 Texas Spearfishing Tournaments
The tournament dates are:
Platform Predators July 19th and weigh-in the 20th (weigh-in at Maximum Scuba) The entry fee is $75.00 Spear Master August 29, 30th and weigh-in 4:00pm Sunday August 31st. The entry fee is $125.00 The entry fee will include: T-Shirts Awards (1st and second places) Lunch or Dinner Beverages (brewski's and sodas) Door Prizes Winning Prizes The categories will be: SCUBA Snapper Grouper Ling AJ Freediving (Spear Master ONLY) AJ/Ling Snapper Juniors (17 and under) Snapper / Sheapshead This the the 4th year for Spear Master and 2nd for Platform Predator. Once again, Scuba Toys is our Major sponsor and has agreed to support us with donations for prizes. Maximum SCUBA, Seabrook’s new dive shop, has agreed to offer $2.00 air fills for registered tournament participants. Our sponsors are Maximum Scuba, Riffe, Scuba Gear and Scuba Diving Equipment - Discount dive gear (Cheap online!), JBL and Scubapro. We will hopefully be adding more soon. This year will have an assortment of prizes and cash. The webpages have been a little slow to be updated but should be up and going soon.
