Its not lobster but it will do

Went out diving this morning and hoped for a few lobster. Everything we saw was female with eggs or in a hole so deep there was no getting them out (BUT they are down there ). Instead we used the spear gun a few times and still came up with dinner. Not bad for a beginner.....

Just wanted to share............. Happy hunting

Nice work. I have still not managed to hit anything with mine. New gun and new free diver so ironing out the kinks. I have had quite some success with the Hawaiian sling though.

Volcanic Snails

On a recent camping trip to a volcanic Island called Tofua I collected lots of Sea Snails at low tide, plenty of nice white meat in each one and served with rice cooked in coconut milk presented on a banana leaf with chilli and garlic sauce they disappeared quickly. Not lobster but great anyway.

Just had my first hit with the new gun, tasty Parrotfish for lunch. Nice to have a modicum of success finally.
