Its not lobster but it will do
Went out diving this morning and hoped for a few lobster. Everything we saw was female with eggs or in a hole so deep there was no getting them out (BUT they are down there
). Instead we used the spear gun a few times and still came up with dinner. Not bad for a beginner.....![]() Just wanted to share............. Happy hunting

Nice work. I have still not managed to hit anything with mine. New gun and new free diver so ironing out the kinks. I have had quite some success with the Hawaiian sling though.

Volcanic Snails
On a recent camping trip to a volcanic Island called Tofua I collected lots of Sea Snails at low tide, plenty of nice white meat in each one and served with rice cooked in coconut milk presented on a banana leaf with chilli and garlic sauce they disappeared quickly. Not lobster but great anyway.
