Great day in Mendocino yesterday for the Picasso NorCal Open. The visibility was OK in most areas, the swells were less than 6ft on the open ocean and relatively flat in most coves not facing NW. The weather was sunny. There were over 80 contestants. The biggest Abalone was 10" with many thick 9"+. There were also good size Ling Cod, Cabezon; Blue, Black, and Vermilion Rockfish.

Picasso Spearguns
I saw some Picasso Spearguns that were prizes. I think they were aluminum? The track/rail and barrel was one piece. The barrel actually felt like plastic. Many were given away as prizes, but I could not find anyone that had ever shot one.
