shell collecting - Scuba Forum

I seek info. on any Caribbean countries that legally permit scuba diving to collect live shells (mollusks). Also on boats/charters down there or in Florida that permit or cater to it. Thanks.

Pull U the FWC site, the fishing regs that are in the store are only a small piece. You can take live shells, IAW fishing regs, you will need a fishing license. They will tell you what and how much yo can take and which are protected and prohibited

Fishing Areas - Florida Fish and Wildlife Conservation Commission has links to much info, including what you can harvest and where! Clicking on either salt or fresh water regulations links will immediately have a list of critters to click on.
