Japan A good friend of mine, and previous instructor for your shop, Lt. Col. Bill Vikers was stationed there and ran a dive club. Said the diving was great! Let the rest of us know about it!

Wink Channel Crevasses Next Weekend!

Probably going to be Friday or Saturday (Fri is a Family Day). I've never dove it, is there any here who have? If we can't get a "guide", we may do 3 tanks, as the first will be very slow and deliberate. Any interest? Oh, and of course this is all weather permitting.

I should really take a few days leave and come down there :-) I have a doctors appointment Friday, but I could probably change it. Are you in the military? On one of the bases? I know I can rent tanks on the base. I hear there are regular hops down to Okinawa from Yokota AFB.

Sorry about not answering sooner. Yeah, we're on Kadena, and it's easy to get tanks. Apparently it's easy to get down here. PM me if you want to set up something (I need a bit of lead time, since I fly for a living), I can show you around or find someone who can. NavyDM is down here now, I gave him some info, but we had a full boat, so couldn't take him out.
