Kudos to ST

I recently placed an international order: A pair of small lights, a hood, new BCD, scuba tool, and a replacement (old style) compass for my old Sherwood Wisdom. No problem so far. After placing the order, my old Sherwood Wisdom failed to boot properly and gave odd displays. I called and spoke to Rick. He tried to talk me through some tests, but we concluded that the patient was dead.

The first problem was that I was soon traveling and could not wait for a repair, so I committed to buying a new computer (oh, well). The second problem was that ST's purchasing is so efficient that my first order had already been shipped, so the shipment of the new computer could not be piggy-backed on the previous order (more money). The third problem was that new Wisdom takes a compass that is different from the style that I had purchased for the dying soldier. So, I decided to send back the old computer to have it assessed for possible repair and use as a spare (with the new compass that I otherwise erroneously purchased). None of the problems/irritations were caused by ST, and, yet, without my asking for any special favors, Rick gave me a bit of a discount on the new Wisdom.

I am eternally at the mercy of varied overseas companies for so much of what I buy. From a few of these companies, I often have to beg for even basic service and customer consideration. To the contrary, I have always received top-notch care from ST, but they recently went one step further -- they took a bit of the sting out of an unfortunate series of events over which they certainly had no control.

Potential overseas customers of ST should also feel confident in receiving more than fair treatment. Thank you, ST, for a job so consistently well done.

Smile Scuba Toys Service

I want to second the service of ST, Rick is my go to guy, I sent back my computer 2 dif times, and the second time, Rick said that he was sending a new one and he did, got it the other day. Also ordered a wetsuit didn't like the fit, so Rick sent another one and didn't charge me yet till I make up my mind, my commit is they sure make it easy to buy product from them, when there level of customer service and desire of satisfaction is set so high.
