I was just at my Grandmothers funeral in Tulsa a couple of weeks ago, and the cemetery has a huge Veterans memorial. Not to sound cold towards my Granny, but I shed more tears at the memorial than I did at my Grandmothers funeral. My Grandmother lived to be 90, and died peacefully of old age, with no diseases. Most of the names I read in that memorial were 18 year old kids who never even had a chance in life.

RIP to all the ones who have given their lives for us.
