Awesome Service - DSS = Deep Sea Supply

Timeline:

Saturday night late: I made a post asking if anyone knew what size SS bolts Halcyon uses on their STA as I wanted to order some DSS delrin thumbwheels later in the week.

Saturday night later: Tobin from DSS posts in my thread telling me they use 5/16"

Sunday: I placed my order online on DSS' website

Monday morning: Received an email advising my order was shipped

Tuesday: Get home from work and it's sitting by my front door.

Now that's what I call service!

Thanks Tobin.

(just a note - I order from ST too, but they don't carry/make the stuff Tobin does)

DSS service rates right up there with Scuba Toys. I just wish more business were like these two.

I've heard nothing but good things about Tobin (and DSS). He is a wealth of knowledge, that’s for sure.

I posted on a WTB board looking for a valve to replace a J valve on a small tank tank I bought used for my son. Tobin posted that he had a few laying around I could have for shipping cost. GREAT guy. I am going to order my DSS rig soon. Almost have enough saved.

I love my rig. Make sure you give him a call with your gear and weighting so he can get you in the right sized wing.

Tobin's has some of the most innovative, well-thought out and high quality gear around, IMHO.

I buy a lot from DSS, things mostly I can't get from STs, such as mounts and a few other things.

I actually have three different orders coming in from DSS today.

Joe, Larry... I'm seeing a common theme here. Folks love/want DSS gear (I have a bunch of it myself... disconnect hats, delrin thumbwheels, stainless steel spool, various tools, instrument mounts, etc.) and you aren't carrying it. You guys really ought to do something about that, don't you think?

I also have several DSS accesories. The instrument mounts are top notch. I just wish they made one for my aries computer. I also use their harness hardware.

I also bought their inflator flusher and the inflator service tool (a simple piece of metal, but it makes the job soooooo much easier). The delrin thumbwheels are perfect.
