Thumbs up Big thumbs up for Scuba Toys

My gear arrived yesterday in just four days from the states, all in perfect order, I was particularly pleased with:

1) Riptide Zone BCD. My last BCD was a Scubapro Knighthawk, a top of the line unit with a price to match, I expected the Zone to be a poor cousin in a few respects however on close inspection the Zone has all the features of the Knighthawk that I loved and its weight intergration system is superior and easier to operate. (The zone ditches just the lead weight in an emergency where as the Knighthawk stupidly ditches webbing pouches, which have a $$ replacement cost.) The unit also fits me perfectly.

2) 1st stage of the reg already attached to the two second stages and SPG/computer, a nice touch that saved me the effort of assembling it.

3) Scuba Toys reg bag!

So thanks to the Scuba Toys boys for their great customer service, UPS shipping did a pretty good job too.

..the only downer was Australian Customs smacking me down with a number of taxes, they even charged me for their processing. Ahhhh well, I'm still wayyyyyyyyyyyyyyyyyyyyyyyyy in front of what I would have paid if I walked into a local store, that's for sure.

For any Aussies importing goods remember they count shipping costs in the $1000 limit for tax free imports.
