Just keep a good attitude and realize that there is a LOT to learn in the little thing that we all love.

Bigman,
I've enjoyed your posts and questions (you sure have had a lot). Love the enthusiasm. Have you asked some of the same questions as others - yes. Have you come up with some of the "off-the-wall questions" - yes. That is what this forum is all about. You sound like a "kid in a candy store" that is great. You are very excited about entering into the Underworld and we need more of you. To be honest, my only concern is that you will want to take it too fast. Diving is a progressive sport and the next step depends on how you have progressed so far. Don't push it. The goal is to enjoy the ride and not to achieve some final token. I'm afraid if you push it too fast you might burn out or you might get yourself hurt. I hope you understand what I'm trying to say - really I'm not trying to be condensending. Take your time and enjoy the sport and listen to your instructors. It sounds like you are wanting to get into the Tech Diving and Cave Diving. That's great, but don't rush it. There is a lot to learn along the way - enjoy it. Snagel |
